When we began building our own home here in Orinda, we quickly realized how challenging it was to coordinate and vet designers, engineers, and general contractors — especially on a daunting vacant hillside lot in a designated high fire zone. Through that experience, we built out a top-notch, highly experienced team and developed a streamlined process that allowed us to go from early design concepts to full plan sets and final city and county approvals and construction permit in under eight months. That journey shaped the foundation of Luma Dwellings.

Today, Luma Dwellings (CSLB HIS #163815SP) guides homeowners through the entire process of planning, designing, and building custom homes, ADUs, and major remodels. We offer design development, project coordination, material guidance, and construction facilitation, working directly with our vetted and trusted fully licensed California general contractors, engineers, and specialized designers to deliver a seamless, elevated experience.
